Today I published a short video tip for working effectively with Dorico — specifically, about how to use Dorico’s Flow and Layout concepts with its tabbed view to get better performance while working on huge projects (like, say, a symphony) —
But: why? Video takes a ton of time, even when you have really excellent help, and I noted at the end of last year that it hadn’t done a lot for me in terms of building my music’s audience.
But:

I also noticed that people do seem to find and watch the Dorico tips I have published, and I really like helping people. If the things I learn while working on this can help others with their own composition, orchestration, etc., great.

Dorico tips and similar videos are a small discovery channel for my music. If someone watches a helpful video about Dorico, they may also look at the other things on my channel. That includes the music I have published.
The first of those is, and must be, the most important. It’s not close. The second is nice if it happens. But I’ll take both if I happen to get them!
